The Xpain Transdermal Patch is a wellness patch from the Xaura Global range. It is applied to the skin and worn for up to 48 hours. Here's what's in it and how to use it.
The ingredients
- Korean red ginseng extract (4%) – a root with a long tradition of use in Korea
- Hydrolyzed collagen (1.5%)
- Glucosamine sulfate (3%)
- Lavender oil (0.2%) – gives it its characteristic scent
- Saponins and silver ions
One pack contains 25 patches.
What a transdermal patch is
Transdermal patches are patches that stay on the skin for an extended time instead of being taken by mouth. The Xpain patch is a wellness product – not a medicine, not a medical device and not a painkiller.
How to use it
1. Preparation
Clean the area of skin and dry it well. Remove creams and oils first – otherwise the patch won't stick properly.
2. Applying
Peel off the protective film, apply the patch and press it firmly for a moment.
3. Wear time
Wear for up to 48 hours, then remove. Apply the next patch to a different area so your skin can recover.
4. Practical tips
- Can be cut: you can trim the patch to size for smaller areas.
- Waterproof: showering, bathing and swimming are possible.
- Discreet: hardly visible under clothing.
What to keep in mind
- Do not apply to irritated, reddened or broken skin, and not to the face.
- If you have sensitive skin, test on a small area first; remove if itching or redness occurs.
- Change the application site regularly.
- Not for children. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult a doctor first – this applies especially to ginseng.
- If you have known allergies, check the ingredient list.
