Vitamin D3K2 Patch: What's in It and How to Use It
Share
Vitamins D3 and K2 are often mentioned together. In this article we briefly explain what these two vitamins are – and what the Xaura X-DK patch contains.
What are vitamins D3 and K2?
Most vitamin D is produced in the skin when it is exposed to sunlight (UVB). In Germany, the sun is barely strong enough for this from about October to March – which is why vitamin D is a common topic in the darker months. Vitamin K2 is found, for example, in fermented foods and cheese, and is often offered together with D3.
What's in the Xaura X-DK patch?
- Vitamin D3
- Vitamin K2 (MK-7)
- Magnesium
- Vitamin C
- Omega 9
The X-DK is a wellness product that you stick on – not a medicine and not a food supplement to be swallowed.
How to use it
- Choose a clean, dry and preferably hair-free area of skin – e.g. the shoulder or upper arm.
- Peel off the protective film, apply the patch and press it on briefly.
- Remove after 24 hours.
- Apply the next patch to a different area of skin.
What to keep in mind
- Do not apply to irritated or broken skin; remove if itching or redness occurs.
- If you take medication – especially blood thinners, as vitamin K can affect how they work – seek medical advice before use.
- Whether you have a vitamin D deficiency can only be determined with a blood test. If you have problems with your bones or joints, your doctor is the right person to see.
