Gymnema Sylvestre: What's Behind the Ingredient in XSlim+?
Share
Gymnema sylvestre is a climbing plant from the tropical forests of India and Southeast Asia. It has been used in the Ayurvedic tradition for centuries – and today it is one of the ingredients in Xaura XSlim+ wellness powder.
What is Gymnema sylvestre?
In India the plant is known as “gurmar”. It contains so-called gymnemic acids, which are known for making sweet foods taste less sweet for a short time when the leaves are chewed. Today, gymnema is used as a plant extract in various products.
